Alex Ingle is an award winning photographer and filmmaker, specialising in multimedia production and public engagement for environmental science. Capturing stories, images and adventures from the field, Alex uses his work to bring science to life.
“Whether they’re trekking across the wilderness for weeks at a time, diving into bone-chilling waters day after day, or spending months at sea in search of answers, it takes a real passion for your work to be able to see it through. Every scientist I’ve ever worked with has shown this trait, and it’s something I admire hugely. It doesn’t translate into graphs and data, but it is something that can be conveyed through photographs, videos, and words.”
